Project Description

The main objective of CATMAR is the development of a method, system and device applied in the shipping industry for reducing sulfur dioxide (SO₂) and converting it to elemental sulfur from gaseous internal combustion engine using Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) with high sulfur content.

YS participation Role

YS undertakes the technical development of the novel catalytic device for the abatement of the SO₂ emissions in the shipping sector.
