Project Description

REGFILT proposes a novel environmentally friendly method, where organic compounds that have been absorbed on the diesel particulate filters will be dissolved, while noble metals and the compounds of the substrate remain rigid and undissolved. The idea relies on incorporating Deep Eutectic solvents (DESs) which are promising sustainable alternatives to traditional solvents and ionic liquids.
