At YS Cypriot Catalysts Ltd., we’ve been exploring this question through our work on the 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁! We are working on a groundbreaking approach to 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 (#PGMs) 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗘𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 (#DESs)—a more sustainable and selective alternative to traditional methods.

Our recent results don’t just validate the effectiveness of DES-based extraction—they open up promising new avenues for 𝗣𝗚𝗠 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘆𝘇𝗲𝗿𝘀. These components are expected to play a key role in tomorrow’s clean energy systems, making DESs a powerful tool for advancing the circular economy in critical raw materials.
